Thermoplay Hot Runners

Thermoplay developed a hot runner concept with three channel layers for the fixed nozzle side, this technology allows the management of the two resins within the same distributor ensuring a minimum residence time and no stagnation spots.
The manifold and nozzle design were revised to optimize the energy efficiency by utilizing Thermoplay's nozzle know-how.
The contact areas in the bolt-down manifold have been significantly reduced, and the reworking of the nozzles contributes another 30% to energy savings and important performance improvement.
The extremely compact hot runner system injects two polymers in the same manifold and it is designed in a way to minimize the residence time.
