Temperature Controller
Accurate temperature management is essential for manufacturing high-quality parts with minimal waste, ensuring both operational efficiency and profitability. Gammaflux's high-precision, user-friendly control technology enables advanced temperature regulation for your hot runner systems.
Building on the success of the globally favored G 24, the newly launched G 25 offers a completely redesigned user interface along with enhanced features, setting a new standard in precision temperature control.
Why the G 25 delivers smooth, precise power to each heater:
Triangulated Control Technology®
The task of the hot runner controller is to measure the temperature at various points on the mold (such as the nozzle and the manifold), compare it with the material-specific target value, and correct it if necessary. To do this, the G25 uses its sensors to measure 20 times per second and readjusts the temperature with a precision of 0.014 degrees Celsius.
While simple systems attempt to make these corrections in proportion to time (heating on/off in defined periods), Gammaflux manufactures so-called PIDD controllers, in which algorithms modulate the control variable using three components: proportional, integral, and differential.
In doing so, both the immediate deviation as well as a deviation accumulated over time and an anticipated deviation are taken into account. As with dimmers for lighting systems, Gammaflux uses phase angle control, which cuts the current flow of the alternating voltage so that it is no longer sinusoidal. A major advantage over resistance-based circuits is the low power loss.
This advanced technology helps achieve:
- Better temperature consistency
- Improved part quality
- Reduced waste
- Consistent part weight
- Material savings
- Increased profit margins
